FAQs

Where do you take the dogs for their walks?

All our group walks take place at off leash dog parks in the city within our service area. These walk adventures include running around and playing with four legged friends on trails, inside dog parks or swimming at the beach.

How many dogs do you walk at a time?

Our group walks vary from 3-6 dogs!

Will my dog come home dirty?

No! At Care of the Dogs, we always do our best to clean them off before coming home! During those very rainy days or super hot summer days when the dogs are swimming your dog may come home a little damp from the water. However, our walkers always give the dogs a towel dry! We also ask all clients to have a towel by the door for an extra wipe down to ensure a clean dog!

Is a dog walker necessary if I am home?

Even if you are home for the majority of your day, your dog will still benefit greatly when coming out on walks! Our walks provide ample dog socialization and mental stimulation to guarantee your dog have a great time and come back ready for a nap! Walks also can attribute to minimizing separation anxiety as your dog is away from their family/home for 1.5-2 hours each time they are out on a walk with us!

How long is my dog going to be gone for?

For our group walks, we guarantee your dog to be gone for 1.5-2 hours.

How old does my puppy have to be to join walks?

We suggest all puppies to be fully vaccinated before joining our groups walks (12-16 weeks of age). We do offer one on one puppy visits to allow your puppy to become familiar with their walker before starting group walks!

Do you offer boarding services?

Yes! If you and your family are going on vacation and cannot bring your fur baby along, we offer home style boarding to ensure your dog is in a happy, safe environment while you’re away!
